Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor and is famous for his roles on the well-known television series 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. At the age of 18, he began to develop an interest in acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. He has appeared in both films and television, but it was his small-screen characters which earned him fame and a large fan base. He's been able to easily play characters on both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' attention. His first project was a television show, and later, he played a detective for the NYPD. The actor has been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performances. One of his most striking face features is thought to be his piercing blue eyes that have helped him portray characters who have a rough, charismatic look. In 2006, he was featured in the People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
